BURBERRY LAUNCHES NEW CAMPAIGN – NIGHT CREATURES

Today, Burberry unveiled its new campaign Night Creatures – celebrating the power of curiosity and exploration of the unknown.

Exploration has been synonymous with the Burberry story from the very beginning with the brand’s founder Thomas Burberry creating outerwear that combined creativity and curiosity. Through doing so, he enabled some of the most prolific adventurers of the time to move past the perils of uncertainty and adventure toward the unimaginable.

Today, Burberry continues to strive forward with the same mindset, creating outerwear pieces that empower the wearer to go beyond the unknown and embark upon unique and exciting adventures. For the campaign film, Burberry collaborated with MEGAFORCE to bring the story to life.

The film shows a trio of Burberry explorers tentatively approaching an undiscovered creature. Shortly after, the cast is swept up by the creature in the spirit of adventure. Entangled together, the creature and cast spin and dance. Connecting with one another to move as one.

Relishing the joy and opportunity found in fearlessly embracing the unknown, they embody the bold and courageous spirit that unites adventurers. As the film draws to a close, the ensemble floats atop the waters of the River Thames and journeys into the night. Embracing their next adventure, and what it holds, together.

The still imagery, shot by George Eyers, continues to celebrate exploration in the city. The dynamic images feature the individuals in the film, shot from different perspectives surrounded by London landscapes.

The Burberry outerwear collection features technical pieces designed to navigate a variety of adventures from outdoor discovery to explorations in the city. Burberry Night Check – the latest iteration of Burberry’s signature pattern – nods to the brand’s love of the natural world by mirroring the night sky with bright white stars nestled in a blanket of dark charcoal blue.

The seasonal colourway animates puffer jackets and tactile fleeces, as well as shirts and knitwear. Lightweight technical styles include colour-block nylon jackets in contrasting tones of optic white and dark charcoal blue, as well as an oversized parka highlighted with Horseferry print.

The iconic trench coat is refreshed in bespoke gabardine and cut to the signature Kensington fit. House Check is also reinterpreted as a three-dimensional pattern on quilted outerwear styles from a lightweight bomber jacket to puffer coats. For as much as the unknown can stir uncertainty, it is only by embracing it, that the best adventures can ensue.
