The quest for fuller brows has been a life-long journey for Huda Kattan, having tried and tested every available product and treatment on the market over the last decade. At first, it seemed like an impossible feat to infuse Huda’s signature innovation into a brow pencil. While Huda knew micro-blading was tempting for permanent on-point brows, she also knows it’s expensive and quite the commitment, considering the changing brow trends we see today.

Huda was determined to create a pencil that could mimic the hair-like strokes of the permanent procedure in seconds, but for a fraction of the price. “From framing facial features to creating symmetry, having groomed, well-shaped brows is super important,” explains Huda. Gathering intel from her years of experience trying countless brow tricks from semi-permanent treatments, DIY formulas and at-home-hacks, Huda wanted to create the ultimate fool-proof pencil.

Huda’s How To:

Step #1: Get your brows in line

With the help of the spoolie, start brushing your brow hair gently upwards. Doing this will help you clearly see all the places you need to fill in. 

Step #2: Shape up

Starting in the middle of your brow, draw hair like strokes up and outwards in line with your natural hairs, working your way out to the edges. Typically, the end of your brow can handle more pigment and you can easily soften the edges with the spoolie. Since the pencil tip is so fine and the formula is so creamy, it is also fragile. To avoid the tip breaking, only ‘twist-up’ around 1mm of product.

Step #3: Fill in the Blanks

Using short, upwards, dash-like strokes to mimic your natural hairs, softly fill in any sparse areas with a pencil. Be sure to use a light hand toward the front of your brow and blend with the spoolie.

Step #4: Let your brows live up to their ‘full’ potential

Once you're finished and are happy with the shape and fullness of your new bushy brows, brush them up for a seamless result.

Huda’s Hacks:

• Even with minimal brow hair, you don’t need to use a lot of the pigmented product to get flawless eyebrows. Instead of covering the entire brow, concentrate on micro-shading in just the sparse areas. Due to the ultra-fine 0.9 mm tip and level of pigmentation, only light pressure is required to create your full-browed look.
• Apply the pencil straight on rather than pressing it at an angle for a more realistic and finer finish.
