La DoubleJ "Flora & Fauna” Homewares

Milan-based design brand La DoubleJ is delighted to announce the launch of “Flora & Fauna,” our most imaginative expedition into transcendental homewares, crafted in their entirety by our Italian artisan partners. Featuring designs based on the other-worldly
illustrations of Romanian artist Aitch, creator of the murals in our Milan store’s Sacred Grotta, this collection is an exploration of the Divine Feminine with a nod to the Italian Grotesque era, seamlessly blending the spiritual and the surreal to masterly effect.

Each item, from our Como-crafted porcelain Dessert Plates to our Isis emblazoned aprons, tells a unique story with mystic and pastoral symbols woven into their intricate compositions. Our ethereal and uplifting Eden print serves, appropriately, as the epicenter of the collection, arriving across the bestselling Big Cup and Sauc and Dinner plates and our laminated birchwood Trays. Featuring some of our most elaborate colorways, each of these vibrant porcelain pieces has been fired several times, a labor of love to ensure the preservation of their quality.

More paradisical prints can be found scattered across our collection of velvet cushions, which expand our Spirit Animal family with new Bat, Angel and Fish Friend additions. The aprons in this collection are our most dramatic to date, featuring the goddesses Isis, Quan Yin and Mother Mary to guide our culinary queens in their kitchens, while our napkins, tablemats and tablecloths make for powerful dining room statements.

An homage to Italian craftsmanship and creativity, every piece in the collection is 100% made in Italy by La DoubleJ’s historic partners, a testament to the label’s luxury ethos and commitment to supporting local artisanship. Porcelain plates are crafted, baked and hand-finished with 18k gold rims by our extraordinary Verona-based partners at Ancap, while textiles are cut in 100% linen manufactured on the shores of Lago Maggiore.
