Twice a year, in September and March, Repossi unveils a limited-edition piece. Limited Editions is a manifesto of the Maison’s savoir-faire and creativity.

LIMITED EDITIONS: A NEW CREATIVE RHYTHM FOR REPOSSI

Limited Editions captures Repossi’s DNA, handing over the reins to the Repossi design studio to unleash maximum creativity. A harmonious union of the Italian Maison’s avant-garde approach and refined craftsmanship, this new concept gives rhythm to the year through two key events: every September and March, Gaia Repossi, Artistic Director since 2007, will unveil a new Limited Edition that reflects her personal sensibility and vision.

Ever faithful to the Repossi spirit and its aesthetic inclinations towards architecture, modern art and tribal ornamentation, the Limited Editions pieces reflect the fundamentals of the Maison. Produced in small series, each “drop” is a contemporary breath of fresh air, a reimagination of jewelry’s classics with a stunning result: bold statement pieces, innovative design, and jewelry that borders on art. In a testament to their rarity and a nod to the best practices of the art world, the Limited Editions creations will be engraved and numbered.

ARCHITECTURE, THROUGH A JEWELER’S EYES

The inaugural piece of the Limited Editions concept embodies Gaia Repossi’s passion for contemporary architecture and minimalism. Baptized Transient by the Artistic Director herself, this ring, whose name evokes the ephemeral and the fleeting, with its sweeping lines and amplitude of curves, Transient exemplifies the simplicity and modernity.

The studio has revisited the architect’s minimalist and curved body of works through the jeweler’s lens. Homing in on the codes of this landmarks - Repossi has created a bold and dynamic masterpiece.

THE TRANSIENT RING : CONTRASTING MINIMALISM

The Transient ring draws on the architectural elements and transverse lines that permeate many architects’ work. While at first glance, this purist work seems to be a departure from Gaia’s signature design, it blends seamlessly into the House’s repertoire: a collection known for sublimating and sculpting the body with its singular creations.

The artistic freedom offered by Limited Editions has produced a jewel with incredible strength. The Transient ring, produced in a limited edition of 15 pieces, reveals a contrasting silhouette: the roundness of the 18k gold band encircling the finger is broken by the thin line of diamonds reminiscent of the Berbère collection.

In both design and in realization, the Transient ring is a true reflection of the Repossi DNA and its standard of excellence through craftsmanship. The ring and its hand-set line of diamonds are fashioned through the precision of a lost-wax casting process. Once cast, the pieces are meticulously polished in the workshop. Finally, the two elements, each carrying its own powerful aesthetic, are welded together by flame in the purest of jewelry traditions.

Repossi has offered avant-garde and timeless jewelry, combining artistic inspiration and jewelry- making savoir-faire for three generations of Italian designers. From its origins with Constantino Repossi in 1957 in Turin, Italy, to Monaco in 1978, and finally to Paris’s Place Vendôme in 1986, where the founder’s son Alberto Repossi took up residence, the Maison takes prides in offering its opulent creations to an international clientele.

Since 2007, Gaia Repossi, Alberto Repossi’s daughter (who was previously appointed Artistic Director of the House at only 21 years old), has infused 40 years of craftsmanship with an innovative and singular vision to create pieces handmade exclusively in France and Italy that are equally timeless and unique.
