In Gianvito Rossi’s “Jungle Couture” collection for Spring Summer 2025, an exotic creativity is combined with the most exquisite craftsmanship from the couture world.

The designer imbues his creations with eclectic details and sophisticated techniques inspired by wild creatures: a minimal and contemporary buckle, a reminiscence of the mamba snake, adorns stiletto and gladiator sandals with a knot design which recalls the reptile’s coils.

On striking lace-up stiletto sandals, 300 two-tone rhinestones, arranged by hand on miniature leather strips,create a sparkling snakeskin pattern for a mesmerizing effect.

And then some glitz: golden shades of amber and brown rhinestones emulate the elegant streaks of a tiger’s coat. A thousand glittering crystals embellish a glamourous evening wedge, shimmering stiletto sandals and a Moroccan style slipper with an almond shaped toe.

The largest of wild cats also inspires a fierce and stylish sandal, with a chunky heel, characterized by multiple tie-up leather straps which embrace a tiger print detail in calf hair. The same distinctive feature, in precious leather, defines the flat version.

A balancing act of strength and femininity is brought to life by the most delicate of beings: the butterfly’s wings, in mesh and soft suede, give a seductive allure to stiletto sandals and racy tie-up booties.

Roaring and sophisticated, a silk mule features a unique workmanship, inspired by the lion's mane, where each piece of fabric is individually cut and applied by hand to give it its shape.

Rich hues of gold and bronze, hypnotic purple, verdant green and orange highlight polished evening styles in metallic nappa leather and suede. Daytime calls for a more neutral palette of beige, brown, black and white leather and soft suede.

Multi coloured golden leather straps rise, as sleek jungle vines, on pin thin stiletto sandals and on a night-time sandal with a thick heel. A chic rubber clog with a unique rock vibe, characterized by the house’s Ribbon monogram, closes the selection.

In all, an audacious collection of boldly feminine pieces for a confident and courageous woman who likes to play with her most adventurous side.
