For SS23, German luxury fashion house MCM ‘puts a spring in its step’, introducing its latest new shoe with global footwear brand, Crocs. Entitled the MCM X Crocs Mega Crush Clog, the highly- anticipated drop Steps Out with international megastar Lindsay Lohan in a first-time campaign depicting a surreal universe where virtual meets reality. From bold, oversized accessories to customizable, playful designs, MCM becomes the complete embodiment of expression and exploration where style and attitude converge.

Shot alongside the skyscrapers of Dubai, a global capital for cultural innovation, futurism and modernity, the campaign juxtaposes two icons alongside Lindsay: MCM’s Cognac Visetos Trunks together with the Mega Crush itself. This collaboration showcases a timeless heritage of travel & mobility through a fashion-forward design which captures the essence of the Zeitgeist from the past to the future.

Presenting a playful visual language with a futuristic edge, the new campaign blurs the lines between physical & digital, featuring an interplay of size & scale which nods to the oversized heel and sole of the shoe’s new design. The new shoe is crafted with a unique electrolyzed mirror platform, which is playfully conceptualized by the progressive elements of the city from the urban metropolis to the concrete jungle. Designed with exaggerated elevation, the sole makes a standout statement which takes wearers to new heights.

The MCM X Crocs Mega Crush Clog presents a hybrid of MCM and Croc’s unique design codes, presenting an inimitable aesthetic that’s made from freedom - freedom of movement & freedom of expression. MCM’s signature mini-belt bag introduces a 3-in-1 modular design which can be attached & detached over the facade of each shoe or worn as an accessory. Adding additional personalization options with new JibbitzTM charms inspired by MCM’s house codes, the limited-edition Mega Crush Clog can be customized according to the personalities and lifestyles of the wearer.

The heel part of the clog is embellished with a Visetos strap with signature Stark studs whilst the base presents a reflective design, presenting a statement-making style that’s made for movement.
