Colourful and hedonistic, JW Anderson’s Resort collection celebrates dressing as an act of self-expression, either public or happening within the privacy of one’s own room. 

Protagonist is a party girl who dresses bluntly, mastering the art of nothingness through intense chromatic choices. Her wardrobe is straightforward, swinging between the firm and the flowy: tailored cropped blazers; pragmatic blousons; halterneck dresses; short dresses; camisole dresses; utility bermudas and slacks. Stripes, outsized daisies and swirls of colour explode on surfaces, creating a vertigo and a displacement. Day-glo footwear grounds the looks, adding another layer of slight wrongness of the whole.
