OKHTEIN UNVEILS FW23 'GARDEN' COLLECTION

The luxury accessories brand, OKHTEIN, has introduced 'Garden,' its latest FW23 collection, which includes an exclusive capsule designed in collaboration with the contemporary Egyptian celebrity, Yasmin Sabri. Garden encapsulates the essence of OKHTEIN’s timeless ideology, simultaneously celebrating Egyptian culture, artisanal craftsmanship and sisterhood with a coveted edit of handbags and sunglasses that redefine the notion of contemporary style.   

Inspired by the Arab garden, OKHTEIN’s FW23 collection embodies the peaceful essence of these meticulously cultivated tranquil spaces, the likes of which can be found in Arab Gardens. The serenity and beauty of these oases is captured through the Arab blossom that adorns each signature design, an homage to the meditative and reflective emotions that are evoked by these paradisiacal retreats, which are not just a feast for the eyes, but also a sanctuary for the soul. Each OKHTEIN bag within the collection echoes a sense of wonder and intrigue, playing with elements of sacred geometry to present a delicate dance between tradition and contemporary elegance that echoes the timeless essence and universal appeal of the Arab garden.

The Yasmin bag forms the heart and soul of the collaborative capsule. Available in two sizes, the classic and the mini, the bag revisits OKHTEIN’s signature palmette through the lens of Sabri’s unique aesthetic. The jasmine flower, the quintessential symbol of the Arab garden, transforms the label’s signature motif with a sense of figurative surrealism. The clean, minimalistic lines of the timeless silhouette form the ideal backdrop for the bold, abstract profile of the new emblem, whilst rich nappa leather and metallic hardware elements elevate each bag into a collectible art piece.
