ALEXANDER McQUEEN THE ARMADILLO SHOES

Inspired by the protective shell of an armadillo, the Armadillo shoe, with its iconic curve heel, was most famously seen in 2010’s Plato’s Atlantis.

For the Spring/Summer 2024 pre-collection, it is reinvented in the form of a draped and sculpted calf-high boot in soft faux leather with an exploded bow and a gold, silver or tonal lacquered curve heel. Ankle- and thigh-high boots with pointed toes are in black and silver leather with a contrast lacquer curve heel.

The Armadillo mule and pumps appear in black and white leather and the Twisted Armadillo sandal is in silver and gold metallic finish or embroidered. The Armadillo Naked sandal is available in black leather with a contrast lacquer heel and signature metal bar.
