BURBERRY REVEALS ITS YEAR OF THE RABBIT 2023 CAMPAIGN

Burberry reveals its Year of the Rabbit 2023 campaign building upon the brand’s spirit of adventure, a celebration of taking a leap into the unknown. The campaign stars actors Qi Xi, Shi Pengyuan and sportswoman Zhao Lina and is captured by video director Zika Liu and photographer Sky. In a triptych of films, each individual is on a journey through open spaces offering the chance for a new perspective: the opportunity to experience the extraordinary to find confidence, passion and creativity. Inspired by the Year of the Rabbit, the exclusive collection features the Thomas Burberry Monogram playfully reimagined with rabbit ears. This is adorned on womenswear, menswear and childrenswear, the signature Lola bag, accessories, cashmere and silk scarves. The rabbit is a key motif running throughout the collection, including cartoon-inspired iterations: some positioned back-to-back so that the ears meet to form a heart shape whilst others sit atop the Burberry logo.

BAGS

The Lola bag is reinvented with black leather and tactile white fabric iterations, both embroidered with rabbits and detailed with the Thomas Burberry Monogram. A mini take on the Freya tote in red canvas is trimmed with black topstitched leather and the Burberry logo. For men, a grainy leather tote and zip pouch embossed with the Thomas Burberry Monogram motif, as well as a backpack in tactile fleece are accented with playful 3D rabbit ears. Perfect for pairing with statement bags, leather charms take the form of our Thomas Bear or printed with seasonal characters.

WOMENSWEAR

Outerwear includes a reversible padded jacket – one side is printed with the Thomas Burberry Monogram and motifs celebrating the Year of the Rabbit while the quilted reverse is tagged with the Burberry logo.
