BY FAR LAUNCHES DEBUT EYEWEAR COLLECTION

BY FAR expands its range of handbags, footwear and fragrance into eyewear. Debuting with Cruise 2023, the first-ever eyewear collection pays homage to the BY FAR connection with Los Angeles where the brand opened its first brick-and-mortar retail location on Melrose Place in May 2022.

Developed in partnership with Italian eyewear manufacturer Marcolin, the first BY FAR offering of sunglasses incorporates years of craftsmanship, heritage and in-depth know-how of the eyewear industry and production savoirfaire. “Marcolin’s expertise and capabilities in the development and manufacturing of eyewear are among the critical factors that lead us to take this next significant step in the brand’s evolution. We were looking for a partner capable of translating our vision into an accessory that represents present-day style,” explains Sabina Gyosheva, CEO and Co-founder of BY FAR.

Already a mainstay amongst celebrities, editors, stylists and consumers across accessories and fragrance, eyewear was the natural next step for BY FAR.

Looking further into the needs of its growing audience, BY FAR delivers an eyewear offering of the highest quality, emblematic of the BY FAR aesthetic, rich in color and innovative silhouettes. “We envisioned eyewear as a reflection of all the values we believe in: a celebration of diversity through a product that reflects the playfulness of BY FAR,” says Denitsa Bumbarova, BY FAR’s Creative Director & Co-Founder. The collection consists of four styles in 3-4 colourways, all constructed out of acetate and metal. Developed using cutting-edge production techniques, incorporating the finest craftsmanship and timeless style, the sunglasses feature lightweight frames and nuanced detailing such as mirrored or contrasting colored lenses, transparent temples and subtle variations of the BY FAR logo decorating the side arms. Retailing from 190 EUR - 260 EUR, the new BY FAR eyewear will be available at the BY FAR Los Angeles Flagship Store (8408 Melrose Place), online with Browns, Luisa Via Roma, WOW Concept, Coggles and on byfar.com, end of January 2023.
