Testament to the online lifestyle and fashion platforms’s growing presence in the Middle East, MR PORTER has launched its first-ever regionally shot Ramadan campaign to honour the holy month. Powered by the brand’s cemented presence in the region and localization capabilities, the new campaign showcases the vibrant heritage of Dubai, getting under the skin of the Emirate and portraying a lively Ramadan gathering with family and friends.

Since it’s localization in the region two years ago, MR PORTER has established itself as the leading men’s fashion and lifestyle platform in the Middle East, a relationship bolstered by sister brand NET-A-PORTER and on its platform Porter Arabi. The launch has seen continuous growing customer interest in the brand, and the new Ramadan campaign highlights MR PORTER’s exclusive brand collection and its appeal in the region.

Shot to portray an authentic and warm outing with friends during Ramadan, the new campaign was shot by local based creative talent and showcases the winding alleyways of Dubai’s Al Fahidi District, known as Al Bastakiya. The campaign shows the rich heritage of the beloved historic district, situated on the storied banks of Dubai Creek, and showcases its vibrant and bustling lanes packed with market stalls, cafes and coffee shops.

Using vibrant textures and the warm tones of the region, the setting is the perfect juxtaposition to MR PORTER’S contemporary collection – which features sharp tailoring, monochrome tones and loungewear alongside accessories like sunglasses, watches and leatherware, all shot on location at Al Fahidi. The campaign offers inspiration for throughout the Holy Month, from iftars and suhoors to family gatherings and even the Eid holidays. Focusing on a special edit “The Art of Giving”, Fine Jewelry, Watches, Grooming and Homeware are also featured in the campaign, bringing home the Ramadan spirit of connection and spending time with loved ones.

Through the latest Ramadan campaign and its continued activations and initiatives in the region, Porter aims to create a representation of stylish Middle Eastern customers with a local setting – a mission realized through the latest campaign. The latest campaign is set to attract even more local users to the platform through its collection of regional and international designers.

MR PORTER’s Ramadan collection will be available to shop anywhere in the Middle East from 12 February.
