Noon By Noor presents Fall 2022 Collectionat London Fashion Week

LONDON, 19^th February 2022 – Returning for a second season at London Fashion Week, Designers Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa of Noon By Noor unveiled their Fall 2022 Collection in presentation format today at London's Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

 “We brought the collection to life with plays of materials and textures and created interesting contrasts using colours, fabrics, and silhouettes – a clash of clichés,” said Designer Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa.

“From metal woven denims sitting next to glossy silk taffetas and duchess satins, or sportswear silhouettes mixed with couture-level details.”

Dominated by Indigo, Khaki and Black, subtle hints of Milk, Caramel, Rose and Lavender soften the collection palette. Proportions are roomy and looks are layered as elements of masculinity and femininity run through the collection.

Introducing denim to the brand for the first time, Designer Shaikha Haya said, “It feels right when we consider the way we have all adapted our wardrobes to working from home over the past two years.”

“Stemming from that rationale we cut trousers with the relaxed slouch of a sweat pant and jackets like cardigans.”

Generously cut coats emphasizing comfort and warmth are cocooned over faux fur knee length shorts. Traditional men’s shirting fabrics are cut into dresses while traditional dress fabrics are cut into shirts. An element of structure takes form of full-circle skirts, funnel neck jackets and sharp tailoring.

Standout details best appreciated up close or in hand include intricately handsewn floral embellishments seen across hems and cuffs and an exclusive handdrawn ocean-depth blue print cut into versatile seperates.

This latest collection carries on the brand’s direction initiated after 2020’s hiatus, which is focused on foritfying Noon By Noor’s presence in the European market and building on its International presence.

Founded in Bahrain in 2008 by Designers Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa –business partners and cousins – Noon By Noor is a womenswear designer brand. In 2013, Noon By Noor became the first GCC-based fashion brand to be invited to NYFW where it continued to show prior to its shift to LFW.
