Christian Louboutin Unveils it's Womens Fall/Winter 2024

Paris, Monday 4th of March

La Maison Christian Louboutin invites you to experience an enchanting evening of fun, dance, and music at the esteemed Le Trianon. This hidden gem, dating back to 1894, is nestled in the heart of the Pigalle district, a vibrant locale with personal significance to the designer, who once resided there and cultivated his craft amidst this legendary area. As the season unfolds, Christian Louboutin commemorates the youthful essence of Paris by revisiting the very neighborhood where his passion for footwear began and where he spent notable time in his formative years.

In pursuit of this vision, Christian Louboutin extends a ‘carte blanche’ to Leo Walk, a youthful and talented French choreographer and artistic director. Leo seamlessly blends nuanced contemporary dance with the dynamic essence of street hip-hop movement. With his distinctive perspective, Walk presents a deeply personal and intimate interpretation of friendship on stage, weaving together diverse narratives of connection and camaraderie with sensitivity and finesse. The performance embodies a dance narrative that highlights moments of joy, hope, and a deep appreciation for life, emphasizing the beauty found in embracing life’s uncertainties and finding solace in the present moment.

The Loubi Show promises a captivating blend of flair and performance, featuring twelve

dancers from ‘La Marche Bleue’, a dance company founded by Leo Walk, alongside two accomplished musicians in a spellbinding spectacle. Each performer will take center stage adorned in Christian Louboutin crystal embellished MJ Moc Loafers from the latest collection, as well as the revamped Miss Sabina sandal, expertly reimagined to complement the fluidity of dance while showcasing the Maison’s unparalleled craftsmanship and artistry.

Guiding the audience on a visual journey is the esteemed French American visual artist Jan Melka, who meticulously crafted the show’s scenography, drawing inspiration from bodies and volumes. Playing with materials through innovative techniques, Melka introduces a three-dimensional aspect to the stage. Enhancing the sensory experience is the ethereal music of Parisian-based duo Clara Cappagli and Armand Bultheel of the group Agar Agar. Their mesmerizing blend of French pop and electro infuses the stage with emotion and energy. With a nod to the past and a vision for the future, Agar Agar offers a live performance that further animates the show.

Amidst the celebration, Christian Louboutin unveils his Women Fall/Winer 2024 collection in a dashing peristyle. Within this breathtaking setting, exquisite designs are showcased seemingly levitating in red niches nestled inside a chrome mirrored box, creating an infinite reflection of the space.
