Fashion Trust Arabia Unveils Marrakech as Host City for the FTA Prize

Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA), is thrilled to announce that the 6th Edition of the FTA Prize will be held in Morocco in October 2024 as part of the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Year of Culture.

At the core of its mission FTA has strived to consistently champion regional creative communities and this year is no exception. As part of its ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusivity and in partnership with the Years of Culture initiative, FTA has chosen the vibrant city of Marrakech as its host location. This decision highlights the strong relationship between Qatar and Morocco showcased through the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Year of Culture, as well as their shared commitment to supporting Arab culture and nurturing talent within the region. The Years of Culture initiative spearheads long-lasting cultural partnerships between Qatar and other nations, promoting respect and understanding among diverse cultures by developing programs related to all aspects of culture.

FTA Prize 2024 will welcome guests from around the world to explore and celebrate Moroccan cultural heritage.

To reveal this exciting news, FTA has created a short video featuring Moroccan talents from diverse creative backgrounds, each exemplifying the rich tapestry of Moroccan artistry and talent in their own unique way.

The format of the finalists' showcase, judges' deliberation, and awards ceremony will remain consistent with previous editions. An extensive program, including events surrounding FTA, will be shared at a later stage.
