FASHION TRUST ARABIA (FTA) & MATCHESFASHION HOST A DINNER

MATCHESFASHION and Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) hosted a dinnerto celebrate the 2021 Prize winners, Zaid Affas (ready-to-wear), El Tayeb (ready-to-wear), Port Tanger (accessories) and Alia Bin Omair (jewellery).

The partnership with Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) is part of MATCHESFASHION’S commitment to champion emerging designers on a global level. The designers launching on MATCHESFASHION were the selected winners of the FTA 2021 Awards, by a panel of leading industry experts.

In addition to receiving financial support of up to $200,000 from FTA, designers are also part of a year-long mentorship program with the MATCHESFASHION.

Guests enjoyed a seasonal three course menu created by Lottie Brook including yellow courgette, lemon ricotta, nasturtium-leaf oil, broad bean, baby mint as a starter.

The main consisted of pan-finished cod, pea velouté, Wye Valley asparagus, and podded peas. To finish, guests enjoyed burnt basque cheesecake, and muddled strawberries for dessert.
