SAINT LAURENT RIVE DROITE NICK TURNER CURATED BY ANTHONY VACCARELLO

Anthony Vaccarello invites the American artist Nick Turner to exhibit his work in the Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles from May 6th. Nick Turner is an American artist and photographer with a deep interest in nature and the human condition.

He works with a variety of materials, including paint, photography and collage, exploring singular objects. His personal relationship with nature and strong interest in horses and surfing are juxtaposed with motifs of family history and vast empty landscapes from around the world.

These works will be on display in both Saint Laurent Rive Droite boutiques. A book published by SLRD Editions under the curation of Anthony Vaccarello will be exclusively available for purchase.

In both stores, a large representation of his work will be exhibited such as drawings and collages around surfing and prints of sunsets. His work on horses, original drawings of deconstructed horses, prints of horses will be represented in Paris, while his artwork on palm trees and dolphins will be visible in Los Angeles.

To complement the exhibitions, an exclusive lifestyle collection has been developed by Anthony Vaccarello. This collection includes Nick Turner’s works reinterpreted as designs for a selection of Saint Laurent products, including backpacks, Venice sneakers and the 5 à 7 bag.

For this occasion, a new collaboration with New Era, featuring two bobs in the colors and patterns of Nick Turner’s work, will also be available in stores and on YSL.COM. SAINT LAURENT RIVE DROITE is a creative and cultural destination curated by Anthony Vaccarello, located at 213, rue saint Honoré 75001 Paris, and extended at 469 Rodeo Drive, Los Angeles.

Named ‘RIVE DROITE’ as a nod to SAINT LAURENT rive gauche line, that helped to democratize fashion and luxury in the sixties.
