Prada presents a special selection of ready-to-wear and accessories dedicated to Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2023.

The new images of Prada marking Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2023 capture the shifting nature of time, inspired by an evocative nocturnal palette marked by contrasts of light and dark. A series of vibrant shots imbued with an exclusive atmosphere reflect various moments throughout the night.

This passage of time is echoed by continuous juxtaposition of indoors and outdoors, real and surreal: seen through the camera lens, physical and imaginary spaces overlap and become intertwined, leaving it to the viewer to decide whether the setting is real or artificial. The transformation of time and space also acts as a metaphor for the introspective and contemplative journey each of us undertakes.

The set design mirrors the mood of the exclusive selection of women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, with colours ranging from sky blue to deep navy and black. Exquisite crystal embroidery embellishes silk blouses and gowns made from apparently weightless fabrics, stylish bags – most notably the Prada Galleria mini-bag – and leather sandals.

Lighter colours have been chosen for the selection of men’s items: warm, earthy shades that seem to hint at and anticipate the glow of the dawn that inevitably follows the night.
