FENDI announces the reopening of its renovated boutique in Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue, one of the world’s most luxurious shopping destinations. The boutique, originally opened in October 2018, underwent a vertical expansion doubling in size.

The flagship store is designed by FENDI’s internal Architecture department and embraces the entire FENDI universe, where women’s and men’s full collections are showcased in a grandeur atmosphere that brings the luxury of Rome to the Middle East.

The silver and champagne-coloured metal façade offers a modern reinterpretation of classic Roman patterns, with the two floors connected by a geometric diagonal and glass windows emphasized by LED arches, an iconic FENDI signature recalling those of Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana – FENDI’s Rome headquarter. The glass windows are embellished with iconic Karl Lagerfeld sketches, bringing colour and life to the entrance.

Upon entering clients are welcomed into a gallery-like space, with a stunning perspective through all the areas of the store and the collection. In the first room leather goods and accessories are displayed on both sides on a 3D plaster wall, featuring a Karl Lagerfeld archive motif. The interior emphasizes FENDI’s design codes and distinctive dualism, alternating materials and patterns through elements of marble, pink steel and ivory Pequin backdrops. The characteristic Italian Arabescato Vagli marble spans throughout the boutique as a nod to the architecture of roman churches, creating a luxurious atmosphere. The furniture features classic pieces by FENDI Casa and bespoke brass and Marmo di Rima display tables by Italian artist Roberto Sironi. Centring the room, an avant-garde handmade 3D glass focus with gold leaf inside, a luxurious and innovative first-time installation exclusive to the Dubai Mall boutique.

The women’s ready-to-wear area is illuminated by a soft palette of ivory and pink, accentuated by hues of warm champagne tones and featuring precious Cristallo Tropicale marble tables. The men’s space opts for more masculine tones, with green and camel shades, featuring a green Patagonia marble table and a handmade silver plaster back panel with FF motif. The boutique presents exclusive leather goods for men, including the Soft Trunk Baguette.

A striking round elevator, made of glass and gold specks, brings the client to the opulent Yellow Diamond Room on the upper level. The room offers a splendid golden display of exotic leather goods and iconic FENDI Fur pieces.

From this area, thanks to an innovative layout, visitors can access 3 surprising rooms uniquely designed in relation to a special gem, each one defined by an individual purpose, a tailored fragrance, and dedicated floral compositions. The shopping experience is immersive through unexpected spaces and exclusive pieces to be discovered.

The White Diamond Room showcases the latest Couture collection and boutique-exclusive Japanese inspired pieces. The room features geometric cuts of Alaska marble through the champagne metal wall. The combination of soft furniture, marble and strong finishing offers a modern reinterpretation of iconic FENDI patterns. The room’s scent – creamy and musky white flowers – complements the palatial display of the couture pieces.

The Amber Room hosts an exclusive MTO service, available until November 25th, and will then offer a preview of the Home Décor & Lifestyle Accessories collection. The home feeling space welcomes the customer to a warm and sophisticated atmosphere, emphasized by a concoction of leathery, fruity and woody scents. The room features a selection of cosy finishings as Patagonia black and white marble and touches of wood.

The Sapphire Room, characterized by a shell shape and the vivid Onice Bluette marble, features a powdery floral and citrusy scent and offers a special display for the FENDI Gems. These are a singular-edition pair of bejewelled Peekaboo bags, crafted to celebrate the reopening of the UAE flagship boutique. The first one is a camel shaded crocodile skin Peekaboo Mini with an 18K Gold finishing and a closure embellished with 12.9k white diamonds. The second Peekaboo Mini is entirely embroidered with crystal beads dipped in 24K Gold. It has crocodile details with an 18K gold finishing and a closure with 12.3K white diamonds.

An elegant and ethereal room in the shades of white and champagne metal details is also accessible directly from the mall. The room accommodates furs, fine jewellery, ready-to-wear and a special exotics capsule – a Peekaboo installation in emerald, amethyst and amber, in fine exotic leather. Among the furs are the signature sable, fox, shearling, and mink, including limited editions and one-of-a-kind pieces.

The Fine Jewellery collection is a luxurious expression of Roman minimalism designed by Artistic Director of Jewellery Delfina Delettrez Fendi exclusively for FENDI The Dubai Mall Boutique re-opening end November 2022. Nuanced with the FF logo, a House icon sketched by Karl Lagerfeld in 1965, the capsule is a bodily expression of graphic lines in movement reinterpreting the symmetry of the double ‘FF’ and FENDI First single inverted ‘F’  in 18k yellow gold and diamonds.

As an homage to both the boutique reopening and the 25th anniversary of the iconic Baguette bag, FENDI launches another exclusive set: a silver Baguette with matching FENDI First slingback heels, solely available at the Dubai Mall.
