La DoubleJ Fall/Winter 2023

For Fall/Winter 2022, La DoubleJ has created a collection inspired by wanderlust and Italy’s rich culture of exploration. With a wink to its community of adventurous women, the collection is an expedition into sumptuous new textures and embroideries, featuring folkloric gowns, new knit sets, and a full ski assortment designed to deliver joy across myriad destinations.
Exquisitely crafted dresses have become synonymous with the Milanese label, and this season they come infused with bohemian glamour in ten new signature patterns, from the smocked Gretel Dress in Crepe de Chine silk to the floaty Cerere Dress in a folk-inspired print. Versatility, as always, remains key throughout the collection. Collars detach, coats can be turned inside out to reveal a popping new print, while silhouettes aim to thrill whether worn on the slopes or the streets, no matter the season.

With new designs created in block colors and intriguing darker palettes, along with printed sets that mix and match, the La DoubleJ woman can choose her dose of maximalism, from modest to mamma mia and everything in between.
Outerwear is a highlight of the collection with the arrival of nine new designs, many fabricated in intricately embroidered Italian silk jacquard. The Precious Gilet Jacket is a stand-out, crafted from jacquard in the collection’s hero Gerber motif with a detachable faux fur collar and sleeveless shape made to slip over a puff-sleeved gown for a decadent evening. Elsewhere, the 24/7 Jacket is La DoubleJ’s first take on the blazer, featuring distinguished 1970s detailing with 24/7 Pants to match, while the Anorak Jacket in glossy faille effortlessly marries function and flair.
A brand-new crew of knit sets arrives in rich fabrications, delivered in statement solid colorways and intricate ornamental prints alike.

Knit kits range from Crewnecks to Gilets, Minidresses to Hoods, in tactile soft cashmeres, folky wools and eye-catching lurex, made to mix, match or luxuriously layer up. Along with the rest of the collection, each piece is 100% made in Italy, a reflection of La DoubleJ’s steadfast dedication to supporting Italian craftsmanship and commitment to luxury design.
Building on our partnership with the historical Italian shoemaker Roveda 1995, updates to Seventies shoe silhouettes take center stage of the footwear collection with over-the-knee boots in maximalist prints and lace-up indoor/outdoor slippers in updates on traditional knits. Meanwhile, a capsule of new foulards is influenced by old school Italia, and as no getaway is complete without a carry-on, silk tote bags arrive in new prints to accompany La DoubleJ’s Legendary Ladies to places of higher vibration.
