One Shot with Dr. Al-Anoud Al Sharekh

This week’s One Shot interview is outright academic. We visit Dr. AlAnoud Al Sharekh in her private chalet in Bnaider.

Al-Anoud is a renowned scholarly woman in the Kuwaiti community. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from King’s College, London, and a Master’s Degree and a PhD Near and Middle Eastern Studies College.

She wrote several books on cultural politics, gender demographics and GCC politics. One of her most prominent literary works is her book “Popular Culture and Political Identity in the Arab Gulf States”.
