MAISON VALENTINO DELVES DEEPER INTO THE DIGITAL WITH META

Maison Valentino is proud to announce a new partnership with Meta for the launch of special branded digital avatar outfits, available from July 14th.

For the Maison, encouraging individuality and building community is a constant conversation and exploration. Over the years, digital communities have strengthened this pursuit, building an even more powerful, open-to-all ethos. Now, that exploration has the power to reach even more people through a partnership with Meta.

From July 14th, a first drop of Valentino pieces will be translated into Meta’s avatar program and find their way onto the Meta Avatars Store. Through the activation, the Maison will take a step forward toward commerce in the metaverse, exploring the possibilities of digital clothing. Thanks to the program, users will be able to dress their avatars in Valentino across all of Meta’s platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and VR experiences.

For the initial drop, the Maison has curated six full looks. Taken from the Maison’s most recent collections, participants will be able to choose from a number of head-turning pieces. To start the offering, vibrant pieces in Pink PP bring Valentino’s new go-to hue into the conversation. For another iconic option, participants can dress their avatars in the Toile Iconographe, an all-over pattern featuring the Maison’s signature logo. Also in the mix: the historic Panther print is rendered in bright Pink PP and seen atop a flowing dress, while Maison Valentino Essentials looks deliver a more subdued, wear- anywhere appeal. To make the offering even more special, the newly-released Valentino Garavani Rockstud ballerinas will also be available, serving as the perfect finishing touch to any outfit.

The Maison continues to find novel ways to open conversations and welcome the latest in culture and technology. Through the program, the power of individuality and personality will come to the forefront, offering everyone the chance to embrace what sets them apart.

Valentino’s initial drop of six full looks will be available from July 14th, while a secondary drop will be announced later.
